 Challenge:

Weston Tile is Toronto’s largest supplier of quality bathroom and kitchen tiles.  In business since 1942, the proud family-run business prides itself on its commitment to quality selection, low pricing and superior customer service. With more than 5,000 tiles to choose from, Weston boasts one of the largest selections of tiles in North America.  With their wide range of products, Weston Tile needed a fully responsive website that customers could access on the go, and an application to streamline their online sales activities and inventory management.  With an outdated website and growing inventory, Weston Tile sought the web development and design expertise of napkin marketing to create a new dynamic website that will enhance its brand image and offer a convenient online search and selection experience for its growing base of contractors and do-it-yourself customers.

 Audience:

With a 30,000-square foot showroom and warehouse in Toronto, Weston tile is the premier provider of quality tiles to the wholesale and commercial building and design industries as well as the DIY residential home renovator.

Solution:

Napkin marketing worked closely with the client to develop a dynamic, fully responsive WordPress website that digitally transformed its online sales experience and customized its product search and inventory functions.

To alleviate the administrative burden of dozens of daily stock inventory inquiries, napkin utilized the FacetWP advanced filtering tool for WordPress that posts and filters available inventory for visitors.  Customers can search and cross-reference by project type, style, color and material.  Weston is able to easily manage the inventory system, adding new products and removing out of stock inventory. A Request a Quote function was also added to expedite purchasing and delivery.

The website now also features product recommendations based on browsing history, and a Blog so that the client can share announcements, new products, and renovation advice to visitors to the site.
