Shangri-la Banquet Hall is Markham’s premier wedding banquet hall and dim sum restaurant. But this beautiful event venue had a less than glamorous problem common to many businesses. The owners were too busy planning client weddings and business events, and serving their lunchtime dim sum customers to work on their marketing and web design. The facility and restaurant needed an engaging website that would motivate more new customer inquiries and event bookings.
The original website was not mobile responsive for 2015 Google standards. The photo gallery: so important to new brides when choosing a banquet hall for their wedding, contained photos which were small and poorly optimized. As well, the website lacked features such as a blog, which would allow the business to share news, updates, testimonials and special offers.
