Challenge:

napkin marketing was recently retained by a Creative Club, an educational organization committed to making learning come alive for students in elementary schools through exciting programs, parties and camps focused on LEGO® bricks and robotics. Creative Club, whose services include in-school extra-curricular programs, corporate training and events, and family fun programs and events, required a modern, engaging online presence to replace its outdated website as it grows throughout the Greater Toronto Area and Niagara Region and continues its expansion into Hamilton, Ontario.

Audience:

Creative Club’s website is geared to students, parents, teachers and corporate entities interesting in STEM and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) principles applied through fun and interactive use of LEGO® bricks, robotics and EverBlocks®.

Content Strategy:

Keeping in mind the strategic needs of the organization, napkin marketing developers adapted Creative Club’s outdated HTTP website to a PHP framework WordPress platform.  WordPress’s Content Management System (CMS) framework makes it easily accessible and fully responsive on any device.

Napkin marketing added an e-commerce infrastructure to the site for scheduling, registration and payment functions.  Developers employed FormStack to create customized, branded digital forms to automate workflows, streamline internal processes and seamlessly route data.  This add-on allows for easy school and parental registration and modification of service and pricing options for different schools and groups.  Developers also created an easy to use inventory system on the back end to create a system to better connect with schools and students.

The newly designed website features also include:

  • A modern and user-friendly layout with a fresh and engaging design, with full search engine optimization.
  • Customized calendar searchable by date and keywords.
  • Responsive, mobile-friendly website, with content searchable on any device.
  • A WordPress content management platform allowing for easy updates.
  • User-friendly school program and event booking form with e-commerce abilities.

Outcome:

Napkin marketing delivered a cost-effective, resourceful solution to the client’s unique requirements.  The new, responsive website enhances the group’s brand image and allows for easy registration and payment for its programs and events that has saved countless hours in admin and increased participation and event bookings.
