We are currently looking for a vibrant and full-time hardworking career oriented Web Page Designer with strong creative talent, exceptional web graphic design skills, a strong sense of marketing design, and the desire to be part of our growing in-house creative team. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to create web content independently, but also take direction in a team-based environment working with creative, marketing, and web developers. Our agency works with a wide variety of clients ranging from private jet services, to food companies and financial services, developing their brands, websites and digital marketing campaigns. Thus, this job starts and finishes with the goal of client satisfaction. The standard set of tasks to complete onboarding of a new clients starts with a phone call, follows into requirements gathering and analysis, and completes when the site is ready to deliver. The candidate will be expected to have excellent verbal and written communication skills to work with clients and record interactions in our CRM. Work in our North York (North Toronto) office (4646 Dufferin St. Suite 6, North York, Dufferin & Steeles, 1 bus ride from Sheppard West Subway Station). Free parking is available at our office.
Overview:
Reporting to the agency director, account manager and webmaster. The Web Page Designer will be responsible for the overall design, layout and coding of some of our client’ websites. It’s a part-creative, part technical role and will be heavily involved with the both the technical and graphical aspects of a website. The Web Page Designer has a strong understanding of UI/UX and demonstrated web design skills, including layout, typography, graphic design principles and colour theory, user interface, usability and accessibility standards. Manages projects from concept to execution through creative briefings and client reviews. Also, this position requires a basic working knowledge of HTML and CSS are necessary for adjustments, but in-depth knowledge is not required.
How the site works and how it looks – and making sure it performs its functions well is what the Web Page Designer will be handling.
